Leeco Steel Announces Sales Promotions in Its Central and Service Center Sales Regions
Leeco® Steel, the largest supplier of steel plate in North America, announces the promotions of Larry Athens to Senior Account Manager and Gunnar Highland to Account Manager, effective January 1, 2024.
In their new roles, Mr. Athens and Mr. Highland will focus on growing business and managing key accounts in their respective regions.

“Larry and Gunnar both have incredible work ethic, which has contributed to steady growth within their individual teams,” said John Purcell, Vice President, Sales at Leeco Steel. “In their new roles, they will be able to focus their efforts on growing key accounts and improving our regional sales strategies.”
Mr. Athens joined Leeco in 2017 as a sales representative based out of the company’s Lisle, IL headquarters. He served customers in the east and northeastern regions of the U.S. before moving into Leeco’s Central sales region as Account Manager in 2022.
Mr. Highland joined Leeco in 2019 as a sales representative based out of the company’s Lisle, IL headquarters. He served customers in the midwestern U.S. before moving into Leeco’s service center sales team in 2020.
