Leeco Steel’s Houston facility reached 10 years accident-free as of January 20, 2024. The facility has been accident-free since its opening.

“The safety record of our Houston facility is a testament to Leeco’s safety program, as well as to the expertise of the Houston team,” said Chad Schuh, Vice President of Operations. “Nothing is more important than our team returning home at the end of the day, which – in our line of work – requires constant attentiveness and adherence to safety policies.”

In addition to steel plate distribution, Leeco’s Houston facility supplies cut-to-size plate and processed road plate to customers across Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arkansas.

“As we expand our processed plate offerings at all Leeco facilities, we continue to evolve our procedures and policies to keep our team safe while meeting our customer needs,” said Schuh.

Leeco is currently over five years accident-free at seven of its 10 North American distribution and processing facilities. Leeco’s Monterrey, Mexico facility is also over ten years accident-free.
