Leeco® Steel offers drilling and tapping services for steel plate products via its combination cutting and drilling machines.
What is Drilling & Tapping?
Some projects require steel plate material with precise, drilled holes. Typically, steel plate is drilled via a software-based drill press that can drill through hard, thick material. After the hole is drilled, it can then be tapped, which is the process of cutting threads into the drilled hole.
