AR 600 steel plate is an abrasion resistant steel plate developed for the most stringent of applications to withstand high wear situations with a brinell range of 570 to 625. AR 600 steel plate is the newest grade to be added to the Leeco Steel arsenal. With a typical brinell range of 570 – 625, AR 600 steel plate is by far one of the most durable abrasion resistant steels and can be utilized in high wear areas, such as: aggregate removal, mining, the manufacture of buckets, etc.,
The chemistry – thermal process has been perfected to develop this grade to provide not only high resistance – but high impact property as well.
Weather it is cold weather region applications or even a ballistic application to resist penetration, this grade can help solve your manufacture problems.
It can possibly save on weight by utilizing a lighter gauge material or can extend the wear life of the units in production. Typically available in thicknesses from 3/16” to ¾”.
